Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology

BREEAM, which stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method, is a widely used environmental assessment method for buildings. It was first developed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in the United Kingdom in 1990 and has since become one of the leading sustainability assessment methods globally.
BREEAM assesses the sustainability performance of buildings across various categories such as energy use, water consumption, materials, pollution, land use, ecology, and management processes.
