Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

Indoor air quality refers to the quality of air in and around a building and/or a structure. Poor indoor air quality can have short and long term health effects and can be caused by a variety of pollutants. Indoor air quality is very a broad term. In commercial real estate, common indoor air quality risks include asbestos fibers released into the air, mold and mildew, and vapor intrusion from underground contamination.
