Registered Accessibility Specialist

Registered Accessibility Specialists (RAS) is a professional designation licensed and regulated by the State of Texas to ensure compliance with the adopted state accessibility standards. Qualifications typically include; attending a comprehensive accessibility course conducted by state officials, review and approval of applicable credentials and/or working experience, and passing a RAS examination. Continuing education is typically required yearly as a requirement for license renewal.
